Vietnam...... AA codeshares with Cathay Pacific out of SFO or LAX. Does anyone know how travel would work for two retirees? Were going to Ho Chi Minh City (the old Saigon)..ing back from Hanoi. Can we use a pass on a codeshare airline? Would we be able to upgrade to Bus or even F/C? If we cant get a pass on Cathay, weve thought about LAX-NRT on AA and then a ZED to SAI and back to NRT from Hanoi, and AA to LAX. If we can, how do we go about getting a pass on Cathay? Info and suggestions much appreciated!
