Viewers on the Ethnic Jewellery and Adornment page, please read this message. My wife Truus Daalder is the author of the book of this title. A number of the images which you see come from the book, but many more - overall - come from other sources. The posting on the page is done by me, Joost Daalder. Truus spent years on the book, but does not like Facebook, and in any case, as we are joint collectors, it is only fair that (to do my bit) I should be the one to promote the cause of ethnic jewellery here. I consult Truus when I am stuck. I do sort out all the photos, and choose them, on my own, from wherever I find them. As well - and this is the really labour-intensive part - I provide all the captions as best I can. Often you will see the image first, without the caption, but REST ASSURED: A CAPTION WILL *ALWAYS* FOLLOW. Please accept that I cannot always get the image and the caption on screen at the same time, but I do what I can. I ABHOR POSTING WITHOUT CAPTIONS, BUT I KNOW THAT THE CAPTIONS ARE ONE OF THE MAJOR ATTRACTIONS OF THIS PAGE, SO THEY WILL CONTINUE TO APPEAR. I WOULD NOT FIND THE JOB WORTH DOING OTHERWISE.
