Vineland Police Department Armed Robbery Case# 51693-2014 Location: Pizza Hut, 301 S. Main Rd, Vineland, NJ Incident Date & Time: 09-20-2014 / 0020 Charges: Robbery Officer: S.J. McKeon Victim: PIZZA HUT Accused: Unknown On 09-20-2014, at approximately 0020 hours, two employees from Pizza Hut reported an armed robbery occurred at the Pizza Hut restaurant, 301 S. Main Rd, Vineland after it had closed for the night. The employees were exiting the restaurant through the East door when they were accosted by two subjects who came running towards them. One subject was armed with a black handgun and the other subject was armed with a large knife. The subjects then pushed both employees back inside the restaurant. They were then walked to the office and forced to open the business safe. An undisclosed amount of money was removed and placed into a plastic trash bag which the subject took from the office trash can. The two employees were then forced into the walk in cooler as the suspects exited the restaurant. Approximately five minutes later, the employees exited the cooler and called 911. The suspects were described as: 1) Male, unknown race, approximately 602, medium build. Clothing: black hood sweat shirt, black ski mask, black bandana around mouth, grey sneakers, thick black gloves. 2) Male, unknown race, approximately 508, medium build. Clothing: black hood sweat shirt, black ski mask, light colored bandana around mouth, blue jeans, thick black gloves, and grey sneakers. The gun was reported to be a large black semi-automatic. The knife was a large knife, approximately 12 long, with a curved blade. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Vineland Police Department at 856-691-4111.
