Vintage BCRA Midget Run With WRA At Santa Maria 7/26/14 Just a note to let you know the fun time we had over the weekend. 5 brave BCRA midgets made the long haul to Santa Maria to run a combo event with WRA. Everything went nice and smooth with WRA Midgets, Sprint Cars, Track Roadsters all had warm ups, a heat and a main. The weather was cool and foggy it was a real pleasant day. Most of the guys stayed over and made a weekend of it. We drove back to the Bay Area after the event arriving home around 3AM in the morning that way we avoid heavy traffic. WRA had $150 drawing in which Norm Gray won the 1st award of $100 and one of the WRA member won the 2nd award of $50. A reminder Saturday August the 2nd is the Hall of Fame Picnic at Placerville Speedway, see Linda Manning if you need tickets for the BBQ. There will be racing at the Speedway afterwards, it should be a great day.
