Violence escalated in the Democratic Republic of Congo on July 11th forcing tens of thousands of people to flee to nearby Uganda. They left everything behind as they trekked through mountainous terrain. More than 17500 refugees have settled in a transit camp where hygiene conditions are poor and the spread of infectious disease is a concern. The needs are great. Please pray for an end to the violence so that the people can return home quickly. Please pray for people to come along side these refugees who are in desperate need and to let them know that God hasn’t forgotten them. I am praying for these refugees who are now in Uganda!
