Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation wishes to remind the public - TopicsExpress

Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation wishes to remind the public that sledding is prohibited at Mount Trashmore Park due to concerns for public safety. In the event of an accumulating snowfall, the park will be closed to all visitors. In the interest of citizen safety, city staff from the Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation and the Police Department will enforce the no sledding policy and closure of the park. Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation’s vision is a balanced, sustainable and value-focused system of parks, recreation and public spaces that creates a sense of community. We are accredited by CAPRA, the certifying agency of the National Recreation and Park Association.
