Job Description: REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to Manager, Purchasing Responsible for purchasing raw materials and supplies for use in the production facility during the startup of assigned new product launches and projects Ensure prompt, accurate entry and confirmation of purchase orders to support assigned duties Maintain accurate tracking of delivery of expected materials and expedite or de-expedite deliveries as required Ensure SAP ERP system is up to date and reflects current delivery and quantity releases Execute and support new product launches as required by attending launch meetings and generating reports required to support any supply chain decisions required Duties will be assigned as required by manager and may vary depending on experience as well as production seasonality Required Skills: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: University or College education majoring in business, materials management or engineering Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and purchasing software (SAP) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: PMAC or CAPICS education is considered an asset Product launch management 5 to 10 years in supplier management role Managing supplier deliveries and invoice reconciliations Managing quality issues and vendor returns Cost negotiation Inventory management and purchasing systems (SAP considered an asset) Excellent time management skills and flexibility in working hours Attention to detail Ability to travel to vendor sites if required Ability to work independently with little or supervision for extended periods of time Interpersonal management skills to deal with tight deadlines and global cross functional interactions on a daily basis Apply Now https://careers.vistaprint/apply/9529
