Vocal Tech Tip: Be the artist you are… Step into yourself. Investigate your voice and what it does. Check what other singers do that you like and sit see how it fits with you. Revel in your uniqueness and work on the areas that you would like to improve. Figure out if the areas that you seek to improve are actually not just your uniqueness and need to be left alone and see if the areas of your strengths are the ones that actually need improvement. An artist revels in themselves, not in a narcissistic way, but in a loving and joyful way that translates into total enjoyment for you and the audience. Go deeper, go farther, bigger or smaller…but go to that place that is the essence of who you are as an artist. If you dont know who you are its time to figure it out! Superman couldnt be Superman until he actually put the S on his chest and donned the cape and flew….
