Voice for Making Education Inclusive in Azad Jammu & Kashmir Project Funded by ilm Ideas The 3rd quarterly state level forum meeting started with recitation from holy Quran followed by introduction of all participants. Honorable Advisor to Prime Minister Azad Jammu & Kashmir Mr. Raja Mubashir Ijaz ensured his respectable presence on behalf of PM AJK, which is of course highly descriptive of his commitment to the significant cause of the inclusive education and solidarity with CWDs. The President of WWOP along with Muzaffarabad team warmly received their chief guest of the meeting and was escorted to the stage to chair the occasion. The President WWOP Ms. Najma Shakoor extended her gratitude to the chief guest of the event, high profile dignitaries, district community forum members of all districts of AJK, high government officials and representatives of the international and local non-governmental organizations, children with disabilities and all those who directly or indirectly supported and contributed in the successful commemoration of the event that marked the event a success. She threw light on the significance and objective of the profoundly important meeting and highlighted some of immensely grave factors which are making major contribution in devastation of CWD’s right to inclusive education. The Program Manager WWOP Mr. Ahsan Rasheed highlights the core issues related to CWD’s and efforts made by WWOP and also shared that inclusive education bill is in technical review process which will share with all. WWOP team is raising Voice in, Print & Electronic media, through walks and by mobilizing Local community. While district community forum members of 10 districts represented and also presented their implemented activities and also shared their future plans for conduction of different activities in regard to children with disabilities right to inclusive education. Media Advisor to Prime Minister Azad Jammu & Kashmir Mr. Shoukat Javed Mir addressed the event and promised that he will support the inclusive education bill in AJK assembly. Lastly, the honorable Adviser to Prime Minister AJK Mr. Raja Mubashir Ijaz addressed the event as chief guest and the following was shared that; - If you have submitted the inclusive education bill to law department so do not consider it a bill but a law from today the state government would shape it in a law and i will put in my own agenda for cabinet meeting - He advised for submission of pilot project in regard to inclusive education so that I could support it for further proceedings and could claim for the fund regarding this to PM AJK on my own.
