Volunteers needed for a free tuition centre at 71 Clifton. The myth that the UN, WB, and IMF propagate that people need incentives to educate their children is over. The truth is that the underprivileged are starving for education, but there aren’t affordable schools for them. In an initiative to bridge the gap between the poor of the nearby katchi abadis and the posh Clifton area, I have opened a free tuition centre at my office. My team and I have been overwhelmed by our poor neighbours response. We have admitted fifty kids from the ages of five to sixteen. We need volunteer teachers in all subjects ranging from Math to Art. We hate to say no to these wonderful kids. Our existing volunteers are doing a superb job and their commitment is so inspiring. We all are doing this out of our belief that education is a fundamental right and should be free for all.
