Vote NO Charter -- this November ! This is a scheme to remove the people elected representatives - the Commissioners - from having input and being able to directly effect change in Clark County. In their place would be an un-elected County Administrator to whom all managers would report. And the commissioners would be prohibited from direct contact with the various department managers. The un-elected County Administrator would have all say. Rule by un-elected Bureaucracy. This is brought to you by the same characters that have continually pushed for Light Rail, BRT, and other issues the voters have continuously vetoed in Clark County. Now the plan is they will stack the Managers and Staff ranks with their people and implement what they want, along with giving Portland TriMet jurisdiction in Clark County. Vote YES or FOR Jeanne E. Stewart for County Commissioner! She WILL listen to the people and be an honest representative of the people.
