Voting yes or no on propositions can be very confusing. I always look at which entities are supporting propositions to get to the truth. Prop 45 is an easy one. Insurance companies do not want any oversight on how much they charge. Prop 45 would give the California insurance commissioner the ability to reject unreasonable rate hikes. A function that is already granted to that office for other types of insurance. Makes sense to me to allow that office to protect the consumer or should we leave that to the insurance companies?!?
