Vrinda Grover (post courtesy: Mukesh Mallick) Barkha Dutt has just proclaimed that 9/11 can never be forgotten. Why then have they all been telling us since the last 3 days to forget the dead of 2002?? This was stated by Barkha at the start of her interview of Mr.C Mathew, who unfortunately lost his brother when the twin towers were attacked. I for one condemn the attack on the Twin Towers and mourn the loss of life. But when I raise this precise concern for those killed, raped, mutilated and looted in the 2002 genocidal attack in Gujarat, why am I told to move on and brushed aside. Barkha also interviewed Indian students at NYU Stern Business School, who said that they think Modis charisma, oratory, implementation of things in Gujarat... were all reason to stop being critical of him and questioning his role in 2002. Do they have no classes in equity, law or justice in a Business School. Fortunately i did my LLM at the adjacent building NYU Law School, where we took courses in Human Rights, including Business and Human Rights.
