Content: The following alert has been issued by the Department Parks and Wildlife Bushfire ADVICE for Cane River Conservation Park in the Shire of Ashburton ALERT LEVEL: A bushfire ADVICE remains in place for people travelling along the North-West Coastal Highway, 10km south of the Onslow turn-off, in Cane River Conservation Park in the Shire of Ashburton. Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes. BUSHFIRE BEHAVIOUR: The fire is burning slowly and away from the North-West Coastal Highway, however smoke may be visible from the road. WHAT TO DO: - Be extremely careful when driving through the area. - Stay alert and monitor your surroundings. ROAD CLOSURES: No roads are closed. WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING: Parks and Wildlife is monitoring the fire remotely.
