WALK THE WALK & TALK THE TALK ( Personal and Professional Philosophy ) _________________________________ Greetings to All !! If it continues to walk like a micro, and talk like a micro...then it will remain a micro. (Walk & Talk like a Macro...one day Your Micronation may Evolve into a Macro) The words in quote above are really self-explanatory; in that, any micronation that is truly serious in seeking some degree of self-determination and/or semi-to-self sovereignty and autonomy from their *macro* neighbor-nation.....that micronation must embrace the image and actions most associated with the *macro* nation in closest proximity to that micronation. ( embrace the macro community of nations ) In other words......separation and liberation will not come to you, you must seek it out; and in so doing, your micronation must be willing to make some common sense and intellectual concessions along the way; such as: (1) creating a national identity that actually conforms to ones actual physical locale, (2) until ones micronation has made some gains towards its independence it must accept the fact that macro law governs a major majority of a micronations operations, (3) give up the idea that one needs to create an entirely new language or alphabet system, (4) save ones time and capital in creating Cinderella stamps, coins, and currencies until such time ones micronation has developed an infrastructure and an economy that will require, and will benefit from, such token examples and symbols of a nations identification, (5) embrace and align oneself, and ones micronation, with some of the leaders within the *macro government in closest vicinity.....and do so with as vast of a diversity of ideologies as possible, (6) Etc, etc, etc......the list is endless. ( do not put all of your eggs into one basket ) NOTE: The above examples are merely that.....examples only; and as such, will naturally vary, and shall depend greatly upon ones own unique situations and circumstances. Therefore, use the examples above as a guideline only, and not as any universal template for your micronations path to eventual peace and prosperity, as it travels the long road towards liberation / separation and self-determination. Excellent Examples:...............> Many existing and well established micronations, as well as a major majority of new and emerging micronations, seem to need ( or believe ) that they can achieve actual and factual *macro* recognition for their micronation by spending their time and capital on trivial tokens that do nothing to perpetuate their micronations process for progress; such tokens as: (1) building a government office the size of an outhouse....which lacks sufficient room to actually function in any real capacity, (2) printing currency and minting coins that have no real external value...other than to serve as a Collectable or Commemorative, (3) building monuments that merely mimic or resemble ancient structures, (4) Etc.....you get my point Im sure. The road to separation and self-determination for your micronation will be long and bumpy, and filled with potholes and curves all along the way; however, always remember this......its really more about the journey, than it is about the Final DestiNation.
