WANTED: HALF OR FULL LEASE Looking for a horse to half or full lease, for November 2014 - January 2015, within about an hour of Cronulla. I’m looking for a horse, greater than 14.2hh, which is educated (preferably in jumping as well as flatwork), safe, sound and in work. The horse must be located on a property where somebody is always around. During this time I will have no commitments to work or school and therefore am available weekdays and weekends. Please note that I will be away for a period of about 10 days (18 November - 28 November), however I will pay the agreed upon weekly amount as usual. A contract MUST be drawn up and signed by both parties and a trial ride organised before entering the lease. Access to all tack (bridle, saddle, rugs, boots etc.) must also be included in the lease. Now a bit about me: Im 17 years old (18 in early January) and I complete my HSC at the end of October. I have a license and access to my own car. I may have to move due to university so cannot be ‘locked in’ a lease from end of January at this stage. I’ve been working around and riding horses for 10 years. During this time I’ve trained under many people and last year competed in show jumping up to 90cm, training up to 1.10m. Im currently having regular lessons. I’ve a volunteered at boarding stables/riding schools where I have independently (without supervision) undertaken many daily activities including tacking up. I have also volunteered at Equitana Sydney in 2013 and have been accepted into the volunteer program for Equitana Melbourne in November this year. I have current EA NSW junior competitor membership.
