WARGAMES CLUB UPDATE! From Mr Payne Photos by Liam W, #CJYear9 Wednesday this week is the last session at Wentworth Rd. As #CJYear8 are moving to Eastern Avenue, all of the War Games will be at Eastern Ave. on Mondays for the rest of the year. The Battle for Mathema III continued as Ork forces prolonged their siege of the city Karndoo Mesums in sector M14. This time they pressed the Dark Angels space marines hard with support from a Warboss, ‘ArdBoyz and Nobz, with Kill Kanz in heavy support. Dark Angels made first blood by taking out some of the Ardboyz, but suffered casualties to their Ravenwing Bikers. The Deathwing Terminators held a line of suppressive fire on the Kill Kanz, whilst being hit by missiles in return. Their armour held up, with no casualties suffered. On the right of the battle field the tactical marines assaulted the Nobz and Warboss in a desperate attempt to save the Ravenwing, now heavily depleted after heavy assault from the Orks. Their Librarian challenged the Warboss to a personal combat. No Self righteous Ork is ever going to turn that down. The melee was brief but violent as the Libriarian slew the Warboss, his Nemesis Force Sword turning the Boss into a puddle of Ork Stew in mere seconds. The rest of the Nobz were slaughtered by the Tactical marines, ending the battle with Orks fleeing for the hills. The Defence of Mathema III goes well for the Dark Angels. Do you want to do your bit? Are you a war mongering Ork Warboss wanting to kill sum Umeez, or a defender of the Imperium, ready to sell your life for the Imperial Creed.
