WARNING! DIRECTV DOOR TO DOOR SALESMAN - ALL COUNTIES AND SURROUNDING STATES! Everyone needs to be aware of a DirecTV door to door salesman. He is a con-artist and thief. His common scams are offering of promotions that you will not get, false pricing,$100.00 referrals from other account holders that you will never see. He has stolen cash money from several consumers. There are police reports filed in 3 counties for theft from this guy. Another big scam is offering to pay off your existing contract of service you are in if you switch to DirecTV, only to find out that he will not pay it off. There are still customers that call me about this scam artist and thief. His biggest targets are Dish Network customers, elderly people and those without internet. You should warn friends and family that may not have the ability to see these warnings. Post about it on your Facebook pages. I worked as a contractor for this thief for 9 months and saw many things. I had to quit due to these crimes he committed. He has told people that they failed a credit check from the use of their social security numbers and had them pay cash that should not have been paid. They have operated under a fake business name for many years called Capitol Media. Only recently have they registered it as a DBA name due to my postings of their crimes and fraud. They have charged many consumers an illegal $35.00 shipping and handling fee. They have broke door to door laws for years in many states. This guy goes by the name “Ty Claiborne” but real name is Adam Tyler Claiborne. Google it. Recently another consumer called me that was installed only 8 months ago that told me that “Ty” promised him he would pay off his $380.00 Dish Network contract and “Ty” has avoided him and so far still has not paid him this money. These are all white collar crimes called “Fraud by Deception” and should be reported to authorities. This man found me by Google search for Capitol Media. The real dealership name of this business has been “Capitol Theatre, LLC” which is not a registered LLC name with the Secretary of State. They have tried to hide it as “Capitol Media” so it would not be associated with the Capitol Theatre in downtown Maryville, TN. They are the same owner. They are CROOKS! This is really not for discussion. This posting is a WARNING for consumers in my community and all surrounding counties and states. These are facts and I have plenty of them. If you have done business with them and had a good experience, that is great. Many consumers have been defrauded and stolen from. I have posted about this on TOPIX.COM in several cities and several consumers have posted that they had been scammed by this guy. If you still want to do business with them, make sure you get proper documentation from him while he is at your home. That would be door to door law contract of 3 day cancellation period, his business information of office address and business phone number, not just his personal cell phone number. Ask to see the results of your credit check on his computer when he keys in your social. If you have doubts of his offerings, call DirecTV customer service at 1-800-531-5000 to verify what he is telling you. DON’T pay him anything in CASH! Make sure you get a RECEIPT for everything. I have posted some photos of screen shots of WATE 6 NEWS stating that law enforcement has reported to them of this scam. THIS IS A WARNING!!!!
