WARNING: LANGUAGE. Wow...thats a real-life fight, unarmed, vs. a baseball bat friends. His Active Self Protection was strong! :) Great job by this guy all around, with some significant lessons to learn. 1. There was lots of jaw-jacking ahead of time. Dont let your ego get you into a fight! 2. When small guy ran off, I could tell right away that he was going for something. this guy is lucky it was a bat and not a gun. When something like that happens, skedaddle. Now. 3. Being on the phone let this guy get REALLY close before he knew what was happening. Stay aware and dont let your phone dictate your awareness! 4. This guy showed awesome technique in dealing with that bat. I dont know if he is a trained martial artist (doesnt really look like it), but he stepped IN to a long-range, slow moving object and that was perfect. He cut it off and got inside its effective range. Do that. :) 5. I love that he was asking the bystanders to call the cops. (hard to hear but its there) He wasnt looking for revenge, he was looking for help! Great strategy. 6. He stayed tied up with this guy for a long time. Do your best to get in and get out. 7. He won. He survived. He came out on top. Good, bad, or ugly thats what counts. Well done man!! Attitude. Skills. Plan.
