WARNING: Parent brag! Received this email from Trumans teacher this morning and I gotta say, beyond any A on a test, student of the month award (which my boyz have never gotten:), or perfect paper, THIS. made my heart proud. So thankful his teacher took a moment to share. Hi, I have always wanted to be a fly on the wall in my childrens classrooms and thought I would share this Truman moment with you. :) We were just about to start an activity in reading class, and the directions were to write down your first thoughts of the people you will see on the screen. Truman said immediately, You cant judge people just by how they look. This was the entire point of our stereotype lesson, and it was so impressive that Truman picked up on this right away without us even showing any of the pictures. You sure have quite a gem on your hands! Have a great day!
