WARNING!!! Snow squalls continue in a flow of very cold arctic air over the Great Lakes. Local snowfall rates of 10 to 20 cm per 12 hours are likely in the strongest snow squalls. Gusty winds will also result in significant blowing snow. Off of Lake Huron, snow squalls are affecting much of the Lake Huron shoreline from Port Elgin to Kettle Point and areas inland. The strongest squalls are expected to eventually lock in over areas such as Grand Bend and Strathroy and extend towards Port Stanley early this afternoon. Although the city of London will be affected, the most intense activity is expected to occur just to the west of the city. Travel on highway 402 and the 401 will likely be very difficult if not impossible at times today.
