‘WATCH ME POP’ aka “ Dizzy” 12.05 hh, 16 year old Welsh X Dizzy is one of those ponies that you simply must love! Super versatile, loads of fun, gutsy and full of quirky character. She can be a bit typical pony naughty with an occasional pig root in the canter when fresh. Off lead she is suited for the stronger, confident child. However in saying that, my daughter learnt to ride on her from scratch at 4 years, starting with lead line, which this pony excels at and is highly recommended for. As a second pony for a stronger, confident rider, she will be lots of fun … a little hard in the mouth when cantering ‘home’ in a sporting event, but will not actually ‘bolt’. She is a forward moving pony and can travel very elegantly, for a chunky pony, in the show ring. Shes quick and nifty in the sporting events and will always come home with a swag full of ribbons, mostly blue. Last year she won Reserve Champion in the Pony Club Zone Sporting Championships. She’s been there, done that … taken my daughter to win 3 Championships in 2013, including Pony Club Zone Flat Riding Age Champion Rider, Interschool Equestrian Challenge Overall Junior Rider and Overall Champion Rider at our local pony club end of year comp. She may be a little challenge to ride at times ( which has made my daughter a better rider), but makes up for it in being the easiest pony to have around. Great with all types of traffic, including all farm machinery, motorbikes and all animals, she is great with crossing water and trail rides and self loads into the two horse straight load. As far as I know, she doesnt kick or bite and we have had her quite some years now. Done team penning, pony polo, teddy bear polo, musical rides, cutting and all pony club events, mechanical cow, pairs, jumping, beach rides, cross country, great on her own or in a group, good to do feet and everything else. She does not spook and is quite level headed. She loves any sort of activity. My daughter did the cut outs on her at a team penning clinic where the cattle were larger than my daughter sitting on the pony, but this never phased any of them, loving every bit of the challenge. My daughter rides her bareback, jumps without hands and has ridden her bareback in a halter. She’s been dressed up with hula skirts flapping all around her without even batting an eyelid. She’s a fantastic lead line pony or working on the lunge, great also for walk, trot unaided but NOT recommended for a child who wants to learn to canter unaided. (We started on the lunge line, which worked great! This pony has the BEST manners for lunge line work) She was hendra vacc’d but is no longer covered and is micro chipped. She had her teeth done on the 22nd November last year. Every 4-5 weeks she has a professional barefoot trimmer do her feet. She is a beautiful pony who has given us much pleasure, but as she has a quirky nature under saddle, she will ONLY be sold to a very experienced horsey home. She was valued at $8000 by a professional dressage instructor ( who Dizzy was at training with for a couple of weeks) who was very keen on her herself for her own daughter. But due to her now being out of work and in paddock condition, I will now offer her for sale at $4000. Price is negotiable, HOME IS NOT! Dizzy has Qld Itch so MUST ONLY go to a non-itch area!!! I will not sell her to anyone who lives near the East Coast as I love her dearly and just want whats best for her. Please do not call me with any anti itch solutions as my daughter now has moved on. PLEASE ONLY call if very serious about this girl. I have no time for time wasters and photo collectors, but will have many more photos or even video available for GENUINE enquiries. Location - Old Bonalbo, Northern Nsw ... but can also be viewed near Casino, Nsw. I may perhaps swap her for a suitable stock horse gelding ... but only maybe ...
