WATER SHORTAGES Blantyre Water Board would like to notify its valued customers that a pipe that supplies water to areas in Soche Zone has been washed away by rains at Nasolo River. Therefore, the following areas will have no water: Manyowe, Sunnyside, CI, New and Old Naperi, Kamba, Zingwangwa, Chilobwe, Stella Maris, Green Corner, Mount Pleasant, Mpemba, Chilobwe Chatha, Ginnery Corner, Baluti, Nancholi and Mandala. Engineers are currently on site working on the problem to make sure that supply is restored at the earliest possible time. Customers in Soche Zone are requested to close their water taps during this period and use water sparingly. Blantyre Water Board regrets any inconvenience this may cause to valued customers. Water is Life, Conserve it.
