WATER STATION ATTENDANT Region: Castlegar, BC QMLP needs your help! We are looking to hire 4 Water Station Attendants to supervise and operate the distribution of clean potable water to local residents in the Slocan Valley. The Water Station Attendant will work closely alongside emergency response staff and will report to Quantum Murray Team Leader. Key Responsibilities: Provide supervision for potable water stations Ensure safe operation of water stations Demonstrate and instruct proper use of water stations Provide information to station users and local residents on current spill response conditions Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively Confidence and responsibility to provide adequate security for water stations Demonstrated ability to manage and control large crowds Compensation: Compensation will be $10.25/hr Start Date: As soon as possible.
