WAYS IN WHICH THE DEVIL USES MUSIC (to change Peoples perceptions of Christianity and of Jesus) We need to realize that since the Bible says that the whole world will wonder after the Beast, that means the whole world is going to have to first get Religious. I have been looking through some music back in the 1960s and 1970s and doing a little research on this, and it is kind of astounding how the Devil used music back then to change peoples ideas about Christianity and Jesus, and to promote the idea of mixing Christianity with Spiritualism. In the Book Great Controversy by Ellen White, she talked about how Spiritualists at first denied Jesus, but that now they try to mix Jesus with Spiritualism. They talk about Gods love but leave out His Judgment and His requirements. But listen to this old Hippie song. It puts forth the idea that as soon as you die, you dont really die but you go up to the spirit in the sky. As Seventh Day Adventists, we know this is wrong because the Bible says that we sleep in the grave at time of death, awaiting the Resurrection. But then if that were not bad enough. in the UK they did a remake of this same song by Doctor and the Medics, portraying Satan climbing up to Heaven as well. In the Spirit of Prophecy it says that Spiritualism puts forth the idea that even the most wicked will be allowed into Heaven. But this video remake of the song also gives the impression that Lucifer who was cast out of Heaven, will one day gain his place in Heaven back again and rise again to power. Then below that we have Tommy James and the Shondells giving the portrayal of the New Age Christ in his song Crystal Blue Persuasion: Norman Greenbaum Spirit in the sky 1970 https://youtube/watch?v=8aZsF7v0pNw
