WBB| Catching up with the weekly WBB update. Although a challenging season overall so far for Dixie State University Womens Basketball, Haley Holmstead nonetheless is up to her usual tricks, leading the team in scoring with 349 points (21.6 pts per game). Gritt Ryder and Colorado State Womens Basketball are on a roll, 15-4 on the season, leading the Mountain West Conference as it approaches the midway mark with a 7-1 record (and likely soon to be 8-1 given their 79-33 lead with 9 to go in the 2nd in this afternoons game). And speaking of being on a roll, going into todays game Elisha Harriss Salt Lake City Community Colleges WBB team is on an extended 15 game winning streak, ranked No. 7 in the nation. The season thusfar has been a little more challenging for first year Adams State Universitys Head Coach Rebecca Alvidrez and Asst Coach Rebecca Kielpinski. The team is 7-11 headed into this evenings game against Ft. Lewis, but recruiting is going well with several players signed already. Jayci Stone and TCUWbasketball are showing signs of past recruiting efforts, digging out from a difficult last year with an uptick to a 12-8 record so far this year, including an historic (as in first time ever) win over Texas in Austin. And finally, Katie Richens recently had a season high 11 points as her No. 3 nationally NAIA ranked Westminster team extends its season run to 15-2 going into todays NAIA game of the week against Rocky Mountain.
