WCHE NEWS - A recent survey shows Chester County residents are optimistic about the county’s economic future. Residents listed an educated workforce, schools, infrastructure, small businesses, and agriculture as the county’s top economic development assets. According to the survey, reasonable tax rates and the ability to attract and retain businesses were key to the county’s economic success over the past decade. County government and business leaders polled over 300 residents as part of the Vista 2025 initiative. Officials plan to use the information to develop a strategy that will guide economic development in the county for the next decade. Officials will present the strategy this fall.
