WCHE NEWS - The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board returned over $41,000 in licensing fees to Chester County municipalities. Retail licensees pay annual renewal or validation process fees up to $700. The fee is based on license type and population of the municipality in which the license is located. According to PLCB Chairman Skip Brion, the board returns the majority of fees it collects. West Chester received the biggest return in the county with over $5,000. In total, the board returned $4.5 million of fees to municipalities over the last fiscal year.
