WE HAVE AN ADOPTIVERSARY TO CELEBRATE!!!! (Technically it isnt until the 9th but its close enough for me because I cant hold on to these pics for long without sharing! :)) This guys story is a true testament to the saying it takes a village. MIJO!! (Named perfectly my son) FORMERLY MILO FROM BARCS. This guy was good with other dogs and a real love in the shelter but being a crazy ball of energy with no manners was hindering his chances for adoption and/or rescue... enter Jen Carle...she contacted me about pulling him. There was a space available in Matt Fazzinos board and train and she would take care of arrangements for him. Great! We signed on as his rescue. Jen arranged transport to Towson animal hospital where we got him fully vetted and neutered. During his board and train program we networked him. Matt provided updates and photos often and we were happy with Mijo becoming a perfect gentleman. During that time Erin Knapp Powell saw him and said she may have a friend interested in him. He had been considering adopting for a while and was looking for a dog to add to his family. Enter Bernie, Mijos dad! By time the board and train program was complete the adoption was official! Mijo graduated and was able to leave from there and start his life in his forever home with his family!!!!♡♡♡♡♡ THANK YOU everyone that made this happen... it always is a networking of people behind the scenes. ..we cannot do this alone. One year later he is still the happy healthy spoiled guy he was when he left with his dad that day! :)
