WE NOW SELL HUMANELY RAISED VEAL! We raised a Guernsey calf this Autumn/Winter. He was 5 1/2 months old when he went to the butcher, and the meat is available for sale. He was raised in our yard (about an acre) so had lots of room to run around. His diet was a mixture of milk, grass and ground corn. Because he was so young technically the meat is veal, but it is humane veal, not the bad stuff.
