............................................... WE WIN!...................................................... Without question, five years ago today was the worst day in history for the Spencer McCool Sr. family...My 32 year old son had fought a valiant fight against colon cancer. But at 9:15 PM on the seventh floor of the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio, Cory McCool, our baby boy, spoke his final words and went on home to be with the Lord. He said three things before he left us....He looked at his wife Jina and said Jina I Love You. Then in a bit he looked toward heaven, raised his hands and said Im redeemed! and then after a while he looked at Lady J. and said his final words on this earth.....Momma We Win! and he went on home. Its true we dont understand all of the hows and whys that God does things....but the one thing we know for sure is that God does know what is best for us and what is best for our loved ones and he will do what is best..... We miss Cory every day of our lives...We think of him every day and we will never get over this...We will get through it but never get over it!...And as I close this tribute to this great and marvelous young man, I thank God for what I do have today...My son, and pastor of Greater Life, Spencer Jr., his beautiful wife Sis. Tessa, my precious daughter Alonna, a pastors wife and her husband Bro. Denny Livingston, in Nashville TN. all of my beautiful Grand Children and Hey guess what? We still have our precious daughter in law Sis. Jina, and her and Corys children Mylan and Maycie who are on their way this very day to see us....WOW!.......I am a blessed man. And there are many of you today who have gone through similar tragedys some recent some long ago, but you never forget.....And there will be others who will have it to face!....But we must always remember to count our blessings, remember that the separations are but temporary, that we will one day be in the greatest reunion ever and above all else remember Corys last words before going home.....In the end, ............................................... WE WIN!.........................................................
