WEATHER UPDATE September 01,2013 5:00 p.m. SYNOPSIS: Weak Southwest Monsoon affecting Extreme Northern Luzon. FORECAST: Ilocos Region, the Provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, Benguet, Batanes abd the Islands of Babuyan and Calayan will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to Moderate winds blowing from the South to Southwest will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the East to Southeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the Archipelago will be slight to moderate. OTHER FORECAST: Negros Occidental to include the City of Bacolod will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds blowing from the East will prevail over Negros Island. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
