WEDNESDAY, JULY 31 ON THE TBS: If you have been a keen follower of politics here, listening to “political gossips”, you will be in the know that several personalities are nurturing “behind the scene” their ambition to contest the Montserrado County Senatorial seat in 2014. Some are cleverly waiting to see who steps forward to contest for the seat while others are surmounting the fear and mustering the courage to publically express their intent to run. One of such persons whose ambition is now in the public domain is Benjamin Sanvee, one-time Youth Adviser to former President Taylor. Ben read political science and has been out of the country preparing for public service. No doubt, with the names that are emerging, including George Weah, Ali Sylla the Montserrado bid will be one of the fiercest. We are interested in understanding the source of Ben’s courage and determination to serve the people of Montserrado. Later; we will usher in Jurah Sanoe, a political activist who has been in the forefront for the final settlement of the Nimba Land Dispute. He has asked for this platform to transmit a “special message” to the President – we will listen to him. (2) Finally, we close our month-long series intended to explore the political governance history of the motherland with the object of conducting “national self-examination” as we move the country forward. Kau Kidau Joseph, a Liberian woman; an administrator, who has been quietly observing social political realities of our time, will share her thoughts on wide range of issues including the question: What is right and wrong with Liberia? We will also get her views on the challenges we face as a people in our quest to move “the fatherland” forward. THE MOTHERLAND WILL NEVER FALL. TRUST ME; LIBERIA IS GETTING..
