WEEKEND - LOW PRESSURE - COLDER ARCTIC AIR - VERY WINDY Windy says to cut a very very long forecast short, just have a look at the attached images . . . . . . . these show a stubborn area low pressure sitting right to the north of Scotland. And we also know that the winds from a low pressure system spin in an anticlockwise direction. So with that in mind, coupled with the position of this specific area of low pressure - we can also deduce thatll shell be dragging colder Arctic air down into Scotland over Saturday and Sunday . . . . . . . . . . with a good chance of some FROST as well !!!! SATURDAY - Winds will really begin to pick up about lunchtime and get stronger as we go through the day. Well also see rain come in, but mostly confined to the WESTERN side of Scotland, however it might creep further east. SUNDAY - Extremely windy and very wet with heavy sporadic isolated showers. Mon the ARCTIC BLAST !!
