WEEKEND RESULTS: 3/4 is not too bad. Your Youth League Men went down 75-67 to Cragieburn, we won the first and last quarters, however, that was not quiet enough for the undermanned YLM. Corey Bond was a standout scoring 26 points, going 7-15 from 3P. Our Youth League Women got the impressive 23 point win over Blackburn due to a true team effort on the boards and a clear intent on attacking the basket, illustrated through their 47 FT attempts. At home we had our Division 1 Women earn another impressive win, this time against Hawthorn. Going into the game with Jamilee Pearce still recovering from injury and import Katie Batlin sitting out due to her own injury concerns. It was a team effort that lead to an 18 point win with everyone recording 4+ rebounds and 7 players having assists. The final game of the weekend was your Division 1 Men who extended their record to an impressive 10-2 behind a 25 point win over Melbourne University. Another truly impressive team effort with 17 assists on the night + great shooting percentages - 47% from the field, 41% from 3 and 75% from the FT line.
