WELL....THAT WAS FUN....... We are driven by five genetic needs: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun.~ William Glaser ;) We now return you to our regularly scheduled programming....I guess it goes without saying....Finally a day off. I had a great time last night at the museum, and the chance to just be a Lance was priceless for my soul. As I predicted it turned into a Gin and Tonic night for me while I was bartending. I guess they say I make a pretty good one, but I will never taste one again, so I have to take their word for it...I do like to see people happy and having fun, you got to know that does a soul some good as well.... So today I get to celebrate my 20 hours of continuing work with a little fun, and you know theres NO PLACE ID RATHER BE than in my Alaska today...Cindy and I will start off with a great breakfast at Humpys in downtown Anchorage, some non tourist souvenir shopping to get Baby~Hueys next care package together, then probably some Husker action followed by favorite thing....Whatever the Hell we want to do....and ya gotta love that....right? I havent had a true day off in over a month and I am looking forward to just letting loose and you know I know how to do that. With a gorgeous sunrise, both inside and out, it has definitely started out the way I pictured it. I get to play in my Alaska all day long, and even though I dont have my Baby~Huey to watch Big Red with, I am finding that my new found loves here, are very willing to learn how to be Interim Nebraska Huskers, just make me feel a little better.... I hope where ever you are at today, you get the same warm and gracious welcome I do here in the Last Frontier, I truly appreciate it...and for now.... Thats all I gotta say about that.....
