WERE HIRING!! We are looking to hire security guards! Our security staff maintains a fun and safe atmosphere during concerts and other events. Candidates for the job must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to confidently provide a visible deterrence to disruptions or conflict that may occur. The right person must be able to work together as a team with other staff, take direction from management, and have excellent customer service skills. We want to enforce and comply with company policies, but not aggressively escalate potential problems. Working at The Waiting Room is a fun job, but employees must be able to remain observant and professional when interacting with customers and bands. We are also currently looking for new people to work at the door! Our door staff are typically the first impression a customer receives when entering, so the right candidate must have great people and customer service skills. The door staff must possess similar qualities as listed above, but also must be very aware while taking tickets, money, and checking IDs. Previous customer service or service industry experience is preferred, but not required for either position. All serious inquiries may apply in person at the Waiting Room Lounge, located at 6212 Maple Street, to fill out an application at 8PM any night of the week we are open for an event.
