WHAT A WEEKEND!(Its not too late to book for next weekend) We had 2 amazing days out at Flinders this weekend. First dive was at Mary’s Lair where we explored the cave and the “arena” to the south of it. Large turtles and a few wobbegongs where spotted. With visibility this good (30m) it was a challenge to get lost as you could see the boat for most of the dive. The decision was made to move the boat to the western side of the reef for the second dive. Conditions here were even better. We choose to put the boat on a mooring not far from Turtle Cleaning Station. This dive proved to be magical. As the terrain changed from rock and gullies to staghorn coral banks we were greeted by 7 large turtles that were being cleaned at the cleaning station. On our triple dive to Flinders on Sunday our divers were spoilt with perfect conditions. Sunny warm outside, flat surface and a comfortable 24 degrees in the water were enough to make everyone happy. On dives through Marys Lair, coral gardens and the turtle cleaning station we saw almost everything that Flinders had to offer. Turtles, schooling Barracuda, cray fish, cleaner shrimp, packs of moon wrasses and a huge variety of Nudibranches to keep Sascha and Christoph happy.
