WHAT ANOTHER MEMORABLE ROCKABILLY EVENT. Anzac Day Rockabilly was a huge day of drinking, dancing and constant laughing with old and new friends. At last count over 300 people had walked thru the doors over the 12 hour period to see the 4 great bands we had performing yesterday. Huge thanks to Aaron and the boys from No Brakes who kicked off the day and also Grizzly Adams for keeping the tunes rolling. Also the 3 bands from Melb, Coral Lee & the Silver Scream, Kieron McDonald and Hanks Jalopy Demons who kept the dance floor jumping all night. To Snappy, Dave, Pixi and Rose, Thanks for making the trip up and hope you all had as good a night as all the guests did. Plenty of people with sore feet and sore heads today, Im sure. Lastly but most important to all our regulars who have constantly supported our Rockabilly events ... No matter what band is playing, What the weather conditions are or Whatever else is on in Sydney, you always have turned up and Id like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you all. Hope to see you all on the June long weekend for our 2nd last Rockabilly event featuring THE HI BOYS (Qld) and Mescalero (NSW).
