WHAT DID MARY KNOW? Im sure Mary knew her son was very special, but didnt understand in the beginning what was in store. Why the visit from Gabriel to announcement the miracle conception of a child from a virgin...her. It was all puzzling to her, but she began to realize day by day and revelation by revelation as Jesus grew older that she had indeed given birth to the Son of the living God. Had she known who her son was in the beginning she would have treated him differently. God didnt want it like. He had to be treated like a normal human to fulfill the prophecies. JESUS came to fulfill the law because we could not. The only way he could fulfill the law was to become one of us and be treated just like us and raised like us. To be tempted just like us, but to say no to that temptation for 33 years. He showed us how to resist temptation. He drank from the cup, became our sins, Took our beatings, died in our place, and rose from the dead. . .all for US. HE IS AMAZING!! The song says...
