WHAT THE PA MUST DO TO LIBERATE PALESTINIANS The critical card in this latest diplomatic offensive lies with the International Court of Justice. And despite Abbass announcement that Palestine will immediately join 16 international bodies, the PA has yet to apply for membership to that court. Ultimately, no diplomatic strategy aimed at securing broader international recognition for Palestinian rights can succeed unless both grassroots international solidarity work - the type that BDS is producing, and renewed mass popular resistance inside both the WB and Gaza and the 48 territories is intensified - unobstructed by PA security forces. That means ending security collaboration with the occupation once and for all. Taking a cue from both the anti-apartheid struggle in S. Africa, and the First Intifada, a liberation strategy would encompass increasing the international isolation of Zionist regime on every possible front, while making Palestine increasingly ungovernable and costly for the occupation on the ground, using all the tools in the toolbox. - Richard Reilly
