WHATS HAPPENING IN DETROIT: The oligarchs / plutocrats, now flush with money, are seizing the opportunity they created in Detroit to buy up the city at pennies on the dollar with plans to renovate the entire city and convert it into new offices, restaurants, apartments and condos that they plan to resell at top dollars. The only impediment to their plan is the people who have toughed it out and remain firmly planted in their city despite efforts to root them out. The DWSD (Detroit Water and Sewerage Department) has now raised water rates to double the national average and is currently cutting off water to over 3,000 residents PER WEEK who run delinquent on their bills, leaving them with no water to drink, bath in, cook with, or even flush toilets, creating a severe health hazard.
