The worlds biggest trading powers committed to achieving global free trade in environmental goods, though they gave no timeline for a deal they said would boost the fight against climate change. Ottawa has filed its appeal of a WTO ruling that says aspects of EUs ban on importing seal products undermine fair trade but can be justified on public moral concerns for animal welfare.
