WHEN A LAME DUCK ROARS AND THE GOP DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO! For those who might deduct from this blog that I am a Democrat, please note I do not vote in the US, being a Dutch citizen. I have lived in the US for 35+ years and watched a lot of pretentious idiots. Republicans make the list for the last 14 years! For the last 6, they exhibit chronic amnesia + have done all they can to systematically torpedo Obamas administration. They have however failed to achieve their sabotage job as (a) the US is today one of the healthiest economies worldwide and (b) Obama has chosen to by-pass them by operating by Presidential Decree. This is driving crazy the increasingly discombobulated GOP assemblage of prima-donnas, misfits, con-artists and dinosaurs. The GOPs criticism of Obama 6 year tenure is rather comical considering Bush handed over to Obama a country on the verge of implosion and facing one of the worse financial meltdowns since 1929! 6 years later the US: > is one of the very few growing economies worldwide > has its lowest unemployment in 8 years > stock market is at its highest level ever > has been able to provide health insurance to 10+ million previously uninsured Americans > is actively participating in conflicts considered potentially harmful to the US (ISIS, etc) All of this with absolutely zero help from the GOP! A true miracle. How long will this last? Not long unfortunately as the GOP has clearly indicated it does not care about fixing the structural imbalances affecting the US economy and its wellbeing: > scandalous way the US Health Care has been run for decades (nothing to do with Obamacare) and making it the worst managed and costliest system in the world > aging of the US population not being taken care of > collapsing US infrastructure > imperiled US educational system falling rapidly behind all industrialized nations > highly destructive growing income gap between the have and not-have > need to increase revenues by increasing taxes on the rich PEACE - MERRY XMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
