“WHEN THEY SOOTHE FROM HEAVEN We’ll see them in Heaven’s Meadows. Running to greet us all! We’ll yell to our canine friends’ again! And they’ll respond to the names we call! What a joy it will be to see them! Both on our face as well as theirs! This time there will be no parting. And we’ll have all Eternity to share! We’ll see them bouncing on a cloud. To heal us and soothe our soul! They’ll jump again into our arms. And one more time, will make us whole! There will be many toys to throw up There. And maybe we’ll have warm blankets too. To sit at night with our fur children. The ones that left too soon! Sons and daughters upon four legs. That touched and warmed our hearts. Watch over us when morning births. And among night windows we call “stars.” Upon clouds of Heaven, they take rest. Waiting to again heal and soothe our souls. They are just as anxious for owners’ arms. Within the Rainbow Bridge’s fold. But for now, we must cry tears sometimes. Because love’s power shines on and on. It’s a treasure that no one can break. For our fur children who are gone.
