WHERE ARE THEY? I MEAN THE WOMEN EQUAL RIGHT FIGHTERS? I am embarrassed at the silence of the First Lady. and her band of women empowerment movement over the achievement of these falcons. These ladies have as many trophies that eluded our men internationally yet our press and women favoured government did not give it befitting coverage nor praises as they would do if they were men who achieved these feats. The supper Falcons reached finals in the women world cup finals and the match was not televised. They also played te finals and won the WAF cup and their match was not televised. My question is why? Where was the NTA and other media houses? If this is not discrimination against women what then could it be? I know why this is not an issue among the Nigerian women. It is because talking about it would not attract IMF and world bank grants and loans. The so called women only perch where their stomach would be fed. When it is about the eagles that have refused to fly it would be the business of every men. Even women stumble on each on one another celebrating and commenting and posting on their pages on facebook. Now it is about women Nigerian women suddenly become dumb and blind while some keep updating their profile with Chelsit and Assnal bullshit. Congratulations my Falcons. I am proud of you. If others forget you, I will not forget. You deserve greater praises and publicity than you have received.
