WHICH WAY NIGERIA!. Our politicians by their utterances over the years have dedicated their time and resources to polarize this project called Nigeria. For instance in the build up to the 2007 general election, former president Obasanjo said that the 2007 election would be a do or die affair for the PDP. In 2003 General Buhari former Head of state once quoted as saying that muslims across the country to vote only for the presidential candidate that would defend and uphold the tenents of islam. In october 2010 Alhaji Lawal Kaita a northern elder was reported to have said that anything short of a northern president is tantamount to stealing our presidency. Jonathan has to go and he will go or be furstrated out. Also in 2012 Buhari gave the popular Dog and Baboon theory that called for bloodshed. In what looks like a swift reaction and a counter threat, the leader of Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo declared that if president Jonathan did not return in 2015, there is going to be war. The special advicer to the president on Niger Delta, Mr Kinsley Kuku was also reported to have said in the US that there will be chaos in Nigeria if president Jonathan is not re-elected in 2015. We havent heard the last of these bad mouths. These our greedy and selfish politicians will set the tone for violence and at the end it is the poor and insecured that will bear the brunt of what they never bargained for. God save Nigeria!.
