WHO WANTS TO VOLUNTEER FOR Maysoons Kids! Now that we have reached our fundraising goal, there is still much to be done. School starts this Monday. Over the years, many of you fine folks have asked me if you can volunteer for Maysoon’s Kids. We are looking for the following volunteers if you are visiting Palestine any time during the 2014-2015 school year. *Guest Artist – Singers, dancers, actors, comedians, circus people, storytellers. We would love for you to stop by our class in Beit Fajjar to give the kids a show. *Teachers – We would love teachers visiting Palestine to visit our class, guest teach if they have time, or give a workshop to our fearless teacher. *Doctors – Maysoon’s Kids class is housed in a larger rehab center for children with disabilities, many of whom are undiagnosed. I would love some medical insight. *Tech Gurus/IT – You are pretty much needed everywhere. *Anyone who speaks English or Arabic and would like to volunteer to Assistant Teach for a week, a month, or a semester. *Arts and Crafts people – to come and do a fun project with the kids. If you have an idea that I didn’t mention, please let me know how you would like to volunteer.
