WHY ARE GODWINKS LIKE GIFTS? Novelist Anne Parrish was browsing in a SECONDHAND BOOKSTORE in PARIS. She was excited. She found a FAVORITE BOOK from HER CHILDHOOD NURSERY SCHOOL back in the US, in Colorado Springs. It was called, “Jack Frost And Other Stories.” She handed it to her husband, saying, “Look! This was my favorite book. I haven’t seen that since I was a child.” He opened the the little volume, discovered an inscription inside, and said, “Look at this! IT’S YOUR BOOK!” The inscription said: Anne Parrish, N Weber Street, Colorado Springs. Thanks to Mary McCarty Dayton Daily News •••• Are you saying, “Wow! What are the odds of THAT?” That’s what godwinks do for us; they make us EXCLAIM ASTONISHMENT and EXCITEMENT! But then, isnt that the same response YOU have when someone UNEXPECTEDLY hands you a GIFT ... something that really pleases you? Godwinks are like little GIFTS left on YOUR DOORSTEP every day. Just imagine the note to read: “Have a good day. Love God.” Many good wishes for godwinks today! SQ
