WHY ARE YOU IN COLLEGE?? Degree,Diploma or Certificate is meant to enlighten you,not employ you. Since I joined Kenyatta University, I have released major limiting beliefs and taken relentless action towards what I truly want. I have learned to connect with people, ask for what I want without hesitation, and to help as many other people as I can. The quality of the people I meet are worth saluting and are tremendous in Nature. My appreciation for relationships has dramatically improved since then and the training I receive builds me in a positive way. From being aloner to having a pool of friends,wow that could be great achievement. I’ve made fundamental shifts enabling me to see and therefore “act” in new and exciting ways - and it’s producing results!” Im one of the above average students you hear about,by that I mean,I score some Es,Ds,Cs,Bs and As in my result slip/portal awaiting graduation day,because all of them are grades recognized for a student who walks in any classroom and exam room. I never dream of being number one or get 1st class honors but I dream of building myself. I need to see an improved version Vincent Oketch not the village boy who got admission way back in 2011. Friends we all agree that lecturers have their own life to live,earn salaries and run personal errands,and suprisingly there are no courts to pin them down when they fail to teach or miss classes. But there is a secret,knowledge is power,you can get a little from them or by yourself and build your own empire. Ask God for wisdom and add to the little knowledge you have to make a difference. Students are provided with the wits of job creation,connection,partnership which doesnt champion for quality education and employment,build self development. When thousands of graduates are outside there looking for jobs,comrades and busy building empires of success and creating more jobs. Before joining the world of frustration for a jobs,comrades need to build their relationship with their fellow comrades to help save the situation of the government limiting employment. Its one step at a time,defining personality,making good use of time,making the right choice,knowing what you are passionate about,self discipline,being humble,self drive and finally keeping the right friends. We all have different goals in life and so,join the right path that fulfills your dreams. Kind Regards
